The premise of this post was the complete opposite of what it turned out. I was planning 3 different outfits and how to switch up one piece to get out of my comfort zone. But as I was doing it, I started thinking. Why don’t I focus also on what my easy outfit formulas are? There’s nothing wrong with easy style, and outfits, because everyday doesn’t have to be sparkles and velvet. At least not all the time.
While I’m all for a great and unexpected outfit, maybe what’s different these days is the expected. And once I was done with the pictures, I realized one very important detail. Each outfit has sort of the same tones/shades. Maybe, unconsciously, I discovered that my outfit formulas are exactly that, monochromatic. And then, I started searching previous outfits and found this one, this one, this one and even this one. Which means I already had a formula, I just didn’t know. Holy shit mother of shades!
Nudes on nudes
Lately, I’ve been feeling the nude vibe. I got this t-shirt back when I was in Dubai and it still feels so relevant – now more than ever. It’s in amazing condition because it was barely worn. But I knew it had a purpose. H&M made it again, this season, and I could not be more thrilled. This look feels very sober and mundane, but it’s how I feel most at ease. Would wear this for dayzzzz.

Grey is my blazer
You’ve seen a variation of this outfit here, but this has a certain sobriety to it. Even though it might look relaxed and cool, it’s also very lady-like and contemporary. More than ever, women are wearing their sweatshirts everywhere, turning it into an acceptable staple. But since you don’t necessarily want to look like you just rolled out of your couch, put some lady shoes and mascara on.

Again, you might’ve seen a variation of this look here, but it sure as hell is not the same. I’ll be wearing this velvet dress for my next date night with M or the girls. Because the sparkle has to come out and there’s no denying that an all-black-ensemble is the ultimate shizz. At least for me.
