A couple of weeks ago, I had a busy week that took me to Manhattan several times. On hump day I caught an early dinner with a girlfriend at one of our favorite Indian restaurants. I went to buy fresh fish at the Grand Central Market. Went for a pleasant early morning walk and breakfast with my husband. It’s great to be living one subway stop away from the big apple and be able to go whenever. I’ve yet to show you this #latergram (although you might’ve seen the bomber here). And that morning stroll + breakfast was the perfect picture-capturing-moment.
I love a modern twist on a seen-everywhere-lately piece. And this H&M bomber is the exact proof that you can have fun while wearing a statement item. I got it during Black Friday, and sent it back home. It was way cheaper in Portugal, and I could not wait to wear it! It looked like such a gorgeous piece and indeed, it didn’t disappoint. I can’t seem to find it on their website anymore, but I picked up a few similar options for you below.
And because the bomber wasn’t fun enough, I added my favorite pair of pink glitter boots. These ones are from Zara and they were the single pair of shoes I wore most while back home. They have a small heel, perfect for the everyday, they’re pink – which as you know I’ve been obsessing – and they are glitter. I never thought they would be so comfortable, but the sock style makes them malleable. It’s the perfect pair to bring out a little shine and give any outfit an elevated look.
Finally, the . OMFG, the jeans. I have to tell you about these mom jeans. One of the first posts I did, the first week of this year, was about the best purchases of 2016. And one of those purchases was a pair of mom jeans, from Pull&Bear. Earlier that same week, I found these mom jeans and they are the greatest. Fitted like a glove and I’m totally and utterly in love. There’s no denying what a good pair of jeans does to you. And these, are exactly the ones that make you feel drunk on power.
