If you’ve been following me for a while, have ever been in New York during winter, or just like to know about other city’s temperatures, you know it’s a struggle to wear a skirt this time of year. It’s not feasible and the cold is too much to handle. But fortunately, there are days, where New York lets up a bit and temperatures are good enough to sport a good ol’ skirt. But not any skirt. My favorite pleated skirt.
I’ve worn it so many different times and different ways, it’s all a bit fuzzy. But this has to be one of my favorite. On the same day I took these pictures, I read an article about spotlighting. And spotlighting is when you’re wearing an outfit that’s pretty much monochromatic and add a standout piece. This standout piece can be anything from a colorful pleated skirt to a bright and bloc colored bag.
We can tell that, in this ensemble, the queen is not the skirt but the . The one spotlight item that draws all the attention in an, otherwise, bit boring outfit. But this isn’t just any . It’s the fluffiest, coziest and snuggliest in the world. That’s right, I said it and dare you to try them. They come in a lot of different colors, but I’ve been looking for a for a while and, the solution was obvious once I spotted this baby at & Other Stories.
