It’s been a while since I last hold the camera and mic. But here I am. One request I’ve been getting a lot from you guys, is how I edit my Instagram photos and what apps do I use. It’s a fairly simple process but I know it’s not the quickest for most people. Instagram is about immediacy and I’m all about taking my time. I use my camera to take all my pictures. My phone ones never turn out as good as I’d like. And last year, around summer time, I decided to turn my Instagram upside down. So to speak. I didn’t like the way it looked overall.
A single picture is very important for engagement, but so is the whole feed. I can tell you in 5 seconds if I like someone’s Instagram page through their first 9 squares. It’s that easy. And I figured, if I was doing this, so will other people. I started to put a lot more effort into the pictures I took, and uploaded on Instagram. Paying attention to color schemes, fluidity and continuity. I wanted to make sure I was telling you a story, in those first 9 squares, that would get you a sense of who I am and the things I like.
I also started using more apps – like the ones I talk about in the video. But even though, it’s an easy process of 3-4 apps, depending on what I do with a picture. Without further ado, here’s a simple video explaining a step-by-step process of how I do it. Are there any apps you also use? I hope you enjoy it and definitely let me know in the comments.
