Crème Sur Crème Sur Tan

I’ve been on a bit of an experimental phase lately. Especially with tones. Bouncing back and forth with neutrals, all black or color-block. But neutrals have always been a favorite. Mainly because you can have a few basic pieces that go perfectly with more trendy ones. And they actually make me feel polished and ready for work or cocktails. And the thing about neutrals is that, they work well together. Like an all black ensemble, an all crème ensemble is just as good.

When you have that sorted out, you pair the neutrals with great accessories. And that includes: shoes. Another thing I’m getting experimental at. I feel like I’m not going for the traditional shoe, and leaving the comfort zone. Shoes I never thought I would like, quickly become a favorite. Like these from Mango. They have a very Céline-esq vibe and have even that expensive look. They certainly elevate a basic outfit and that’s all you want to accomplish really.

Unfortunately, I haven’t had the opportunity to wear them that much because of the cold. But this past weekend there were a few warmer days and the perfect opportunity to break them in. They’re so elegant, feminine and a bit bulky, but combined with the soft tones and the up-do, result in an overall chic look.
