I rarely get to fancy up here on the blog. Most of my outfits are pretty casual or daily appropriate. Last weekend, when I went to a charity concert, I took the opportunity and snapped a few photos of my outfit of the night. I haven’t been to a concert in a while, but one thing I always aim is to dress comfortably. Concerts always remind me of rock’n’roll chicks, a bold lipstick color and an all black ensemble.
And that’s exactly what I went for. I knew what I wanted to wear. This jacket was almost an impulse purchase, but not really. I had been eyeing it since last year, around February, when I went to Portugal. I guess I wasn’t ready for it. But then, a few weeks back, a friend of mine came to hang out and she was totally rocking it. I didn’t even think twice and got it. Especially with the short hair, I think it makes up for the entire look.
I also realized, that lately I’ve been running away from all black outfits. Which is weird, since I love the color. It always feels appropriate, it’s very sexy and slimming. Whenever I don’t know what I should wear, an all black outfit comes to the rescue. But then I added the Converse sneakers for the ultimate comfy situation, and a touch of color with the pink strap of the metallic bag. Finished it off with some messy waves and a middle partition. Safe to say that, if it wasn’t for the cold that night, everything would’ve been on point. Rock on babes!
