Beauty Finds I’ve Been Trying – and Loving

I realized, a few weeks ago, that I stopped doing the beauty finds of the month. There’s no reasonable explanation. And I’ve been trying a few new things lately (like this and this) that I really want to talk about. So today, the wait is over. I did a roundup of a few beauty products I’ve been trying – and so far – loving. Things that hopefully will stick to my routine.

My beauty finds are often a result of three different things. Either I hear about it on a YouTube tutorial (by the way, are you following my channel?). Friends recommendations. Or rants to the drug or beauty store. Two of these beauty finds were recommended, two others were on my to-get list and the last one was a lucky find and basic necessity.

#1 L’Oréal Pure Clay Masque

This product was recommended by a friend, but I was very curious about it. I’ve seen it on several Insta Stories and read a few things about it. And you know I’m a fan of the masks. To be honest, today is going to be the second day I’m going to try it, so there’s not a whole lot to say. But the first time I did, my skin felt great. I love that sensation after you remove the product and just gaze at the glowing skin. It’s hard to find results right away, but I’m surely going to report in a few weeks.

#2 Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer

I’ve been looking to try different concealers lately. I feel like the NARS I rant so much about, is failing a bit. It often feels too cakey and accentuates the wrinkles around my eyes. This one has a lighter feel and, so far, it’s a winner. I love the sound it does when you rotate for more product. The cold sponge feeling helps to revive my under eye part a bit and the color seems like the right one – I’m using Fair.

#3 Glossier

I’m going to be talking a lot about Glossier. I can’t get enough of their products. I started by ordering the Phase 1 Set which comes with a milky jelly cleanser, priming moisturizer, balm dotcom, and perfecting skin tint. The milky jelly cleanser and the priming moisturizer are heaven sent. I’ve been loving my routine. Every single day in the morning, after waking up, I wash my face with the cleanser, rinse, and after applying my primer, I apply this moisturizer. At night, after using my toner, I also cleanse with the milky goddess. My skin is looking great, clear, clean, shiny and not dull at all. The one thing that I sort of dislike is the smell of the products, but you definitely get used to it.

#4 Essie Allure

This was bought in one of my walks through the drugstore, trying to find something. I just didn’t know what. I’ve had a similar color to Allure since ever – I even finished it. Mainly because it’s simple, uncomplicated and always makes your nails look great. When I don’t have time to apply nail polish, which is more often than not, I always have this in hand to save the nail.
