July is a steamy month in New York City. It’s hard to find make up and products that work well all throughout the day. You have to be smart and get cracking the wonder-products. I’ve been using a great amount of skin reactors, especially with salicylic acid to minimize pores and gently exfoliate. Also primers for the eye lids and face and cover up for the pimples – which have been showing up a lot. These are my beauty finds of the month.
This Anastasia Beverly Hills Pro Pencil is amazing to hide blemishes. It has a thicker consistency than my go-to concealer which is great to cover up the most stubborn spots. It also lasts longer throughout the day which helps me look put together at all times. Amazingly, it also works as a highlighter.
This Laura Mercier Primer was a gift from Sephora and I love the texture and smell. Usually I apply it to my whole face, even if I’m not wearing foundation – which I rarely do in the summer. It’s also blemish friendly which is amazing for my sensitive skin.
I first bought this Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion when researching for this post. Now I can’t stop using it! It’s a great way to protect your lids from external conditions, whether you apply eye shadow or not, and at the same time, a light illuminator.
If you’ve been following me for a while, you know I’m a fan of the Chanel cleansing products. I love the smell, the consistency and how they easily remove every-little-thing. Le Jour de Chanel has been incredibly amazing for my skin prior to the moisturizer. I only apply it in the morning and have noticing that my skin is more smooth, deals better with the make up and helps it feel energized and alive – instead of dull and toneless.
