You may have noticed around here that I’ve posting my outfits on a regular basis. Even though the blog is taking a spin, I’m still very much focused on fashion. I felt like my posts were getting too boring and predictable. So, I’m going to start rounding up things I’m wearing and suggest similar affordable, and not so affordable options. Because we’re all very much looking for inspiration everywhere we look, I want I Life You to be a go-to, reliable source. Here are my 5 closet favorites right now.
Prabal Gurung, Dior, Sézane, Gucci. Every major brand hit the runway this past season and splashed something across a t-shirt. I invested in a couple of them because I truly believe they are a statement piece. It’s definitely on my top 5 closet favorites and you can stick nearly any message you want.
If you haven’t seen this blazer around the web, let me introduce you to it. Blazer, meet people. People meet blazer. I lost track of how many times I looked for inspiration on what to wear and found this piece been worn with nearly everything. As I get older, I believe that investing in key pieces for your wardrobe is essential. Those are the ones you can wear as basic as possible, or mix with more trendy and of-the-moment pieces.
I didn’t wear this dress once, twice, but 10 times. While the weather in New York may be quite confusing, this is the perfect piece to spring you into summer. You show a little leg but still have the sleeves for a chillier day. Anything else is a prop.
Although these might be more of a trendy – or personal – type of pieces, I can’t get enough. I love a good pattern, especially if I can mix it with another great pattern. It always ends up given a great spin to your overall look.
