New York City Guide – Everything You Need to Know

After a few months of roaming around, trying new things, visiting same old places, I’m finally launching my New York City guide! It’s still a work in progress – and I guess it will always be as long as I live here. But I’ll be making sure to update it as often as possible and develop a space where you can easily read, recommend and enjoy.

This New York City guide comes at a time when we’re almost celebrating 3 years of living in this city. It’s amazing how time slips through your fingers and here we are. After countless visits, thousands of hours exploring, I finally put it all together – and still going. I didn’t want to tap the pieces but to actually take it slow and make something you, and I, could be proud of. I divided into a few sections which you can check in the Navigation bar, under New York City:

I rounded a few things you should know before traveling to NYC.

With any place you travel to, there are do’s and don’ts to be aware of. I’m tackling a list of things you should know before traveling to New York City. You can read about what to bring, gimmicks and how to properly prepare your trip.

There are a lot more places to go in the city. But these are my top 10 choices. This came from the experience I had with myself and people visiting. I gathered a significant amount of opinions as to what they preferred and what they said could go well without seeing.

a small guide with some of my favorite places in the city (where to get the best coffee and tea is next on my to-do list).

I’m pretty bias when it comes to restaurants in the city. But fortunately have had the opportunity to try out a lot of places. Again, gathering a few of my favorite and old reliables and adding as I go through a few more.

a list of my favorite museums around the city.

Museums in New York are a great way to spend a day, morning or afternoon. Depending on your preferences I listed the ones I’ve been to and what I enjoyed most about it. Read through as I give you a fun fact.

I’m currently working on Off the Beaten Track, which is going to be a list of less tourist-y things to do. A shopping and coffee guides. And, of course, important apps and things to utilize/know when you are here. Bare with me, as this is a work in progress, but definitely let me know what you think. I also want your suggestions, tips and tricks to roam the city. Hopefully this will be a New York City guide we can all contribute to and make the best possible version of the city.

Looking forward to hear what you think and, until then, welcome!
