It’s pretty hard to avoid Glossier. Even when I didn’t know what it was, it kept popping up. On my feeds, on my e-mail, on friends purses. What the hell was the hype all about? I wondered. I have to tell you, I wasn’t curious enough to take a peek, until a girl I was working with talked about it. She told me she was obsessed with their products, their branding, their packaging. And after that, another friend talked about it. And then another. I finally caved, a few months ago, and went to my know-it-all-friend, Google.
My small search told me Glossier was founded by Emily Weiss. Also the founder of Into the Gloss, a blog I was already following. Much like very few brands are preaching these days, Glossier appeals to the real girls out there. And I love that. I’ve always felt a connection to Dove, as well, for their powerful commercials and real-beauty-is-what-matters message.

Glossier is the ultimate game changer. I told you a few times before that I struggle with skin problems. Always have and I suspect I always will. From an early age I had eczema, which came and went. Then at 21, I started getting pimples and allergic reactions on my chin – and figured out it was due to food intolerances. And now I’m reaching an understanding and in-depth knowledge of what my skin needs and how it reacts.
Especially after I started trying the Glossier products and watching my food intake
I ordered the Phase 1 Set (like explained here). And began using the products immediately. On the same day, I washed my face with the milky cleanser and the morning after, I applied the priming moisturizer. I’ve been doing it for the past month and a half, and absolutely love it! I can’t rave enough about it and the effect it has had on my skin is just unbelievable.

I wake up with radiant skin, it feels soft, hydrated and, when I wash it, you can feel the moisturizer coming off. Recently I purchased the Phase 2 Set, which still hasn’t arrived, but I’m really excited to try it! I’m definitely re-stocking the milky cleanser and the priming moisturizer. I’m guessing the results I’ve achieved are due to a combination of factors. I’ve been really managing the foods I eat, doing masks 3 times a week, cleaning my skin religiously every morning and evening. Put it all together with eating very few sugary foods, drinking alcohol and basically surviving on vegetables, meat and fish, that’s what you get.

Note that, what works for me might not work for you. It’s all based on you trying it out or even consulting a specialist. I’ve always been very experimental and end up sticking to a routine when it’s working. But what I write here are my own personal opinions and experience.
Do you know Glossier? Have any tips or comments on it? I would love to know!
