The Perfect Fall Background and Green Jacket

I must’ve said this a hundred times here on the blog, but I love fall. It’s one of the prettiest and most magical seasons of the year. With the turning of the leafs and the brisk air. And fall outfits are a great transition challenge. There are sunny days when you can still wear your shoes without socks but already need a light jacket for the evening cold. Especially in Long Island, fall goes to another level.

While on a meeting, I took a few shots of my outfit with the perfect fall background. All the colors seem to blend in beautifully and I’m just a pawn playing with them. This jacket has been a life saver. I love how it feels so day appropriate even though it has a bit of glitter on it.

Lately, I’ve also been trying to wear the same pieces, different ways (this jacket seen here and shoes here). Because let’s face it, most of us don’t have enough clothes to be constantly changing it up. The best and my most favorite part, is finding whole new ways to combine something in a totally different point of view. And more than summer when we’re only wearing two pieces and winter, when coats are all we see, fall is perfect for layering and mixing.
