Lately, most of my focus has been going towards organizing and taking care of our new apartment. Moving is one of the most horrible experiences we can endure – especially if you do it yourself. Our latest apartment update is mainly about small decor details that I’ve been trying to get done. It’s not easy to focus, with so many boxes and bags filled with our stuff around here. But I’m trying to take it easy and be patient.
We already ordered our media console, but apparently is taking too long to arrive. And while we wait to get another table for our books and small decorative items, the floor is the best solution. I’m actually starting to love it all, but can’t wait for it to be over. Moving to a new apartment and re-adjusting everything you own is quite hard. That’s why we opted for selling a few of our things to make room for new ones.
Meanwhile, the bedroom is practically finished and has just a few small things missing, but I’m pretty happy about the result. I thought the apartment was smaller than it actually is. But as everything falls into place and the boxes and endless bags start to disappear, I’m feeling a bit more at ease. It’s been challenging, to say the least, organizing everything we own with less storage space. But I love coming up with solutions for it.
