This past sunday, me, M and my cousin – who was visiting New York – went to the Meat Packing District to walk along the High Line and have brunch at one of the cutest places I’ve been in the city, The Standard Grill. A few days earlier I made a reservation and the place was recommended by S. Everything in the menu looked great and the food was really good. I ordered The Standard Burger and shared the Cornmeal Pancakes with M. These last were absolutely wonderful and fluffy and had a slight lemon taste. The place was packed but the service was impeccable, the ambience cozy and the food was amazing. If you’re in need of fresh and new ideas, this is a great place to spend your sunday morning and early afternoon.
