Three spring ready outfits

More and more, I’ve come to embrace the awesome power of being able to wear an item and combined it different ways. Since lately I’ve been obsessing about these Levi’s my dad got me, I’ve been pairing them with different outfit combinations. They can have a casual look with sneakers and a t-shirt or put-together with a spring knit and some shiny loafers. I sort of challenge myself to do this because it makes my wardrobe more simple and my choices in the morning easier. Given that spring has finally given us its graces, I felt the occasion presented itself!

Zara Leather Jacket (old, similar here), Zara T-Shirt (old, similar here), Levi’s Demi Curve Skinny Rollup Jeans, Topshop Tiga Faux Fur Skater Shoes (similar here), Forever 21 Short Necklace and Accessorize Long Necklace (similar here).

This is a very basic but comfortable look. If I was spending my day walking around in the city, it would be something I would opt to wear. The loose t-shirt does not compromise you and feels very now because of its color and shape. Paired with some casual jewelry and slip-ons you would be good to walk anywhere. When you top it with the leather jacket, you can still go for a cocktail in the evening.

The second look has a more classic feel to it with the top knot and the trench coat. A few weeks back, this is what I wore to the city one of the days my father was here and could not have asked for a more comfortable and adorable look (also seen here). I applied a red Clinique lipstick to give it a more sophisticated and grown-up look and walked around like this all day.

This is by far my favorite of the three. I felt confident, elegant and ready for a date or night out. The loafers still give it a more casual look, but being shiny, totally scream date night out. This Zara knit pairs perfectly with the shade of the jeans and the jacket tops it out really nicely with a pastel color. The jewelry gives it a touch of spark and draw attention to the neckline. Perfect!

Notice that I normally tuck my sweater or t-shirt on one side of the waist, this small trick gives you a sort of shape and contour when your top doesn’t flatter you straight. Also, for tips and tricks on how to do your curly hair, see what products I apply to get this effect here.
