The weather in New York has been kind of funky because you never know where the day is going to take you. Right by the second week, my father was visiting and we took the day to enjoy a sunny Manhattan. We went for brunch, strolled around The High Line and went all the way to Union Square. I attempted to buy M some jeans and t-shirts at Urban Outfitters near Herald Square but he just got two cute t-shirts. The setting was beautifully spring-y, so we stopped to take a few shots with the blossoming flowers that decorate all of Manhattan. I was wearing my good old Zara leather jacket with a denim shirt. It was all about important basics that day.
