We all love being in an environment that’s soothing, organized and aesthetically pleasing, especially if we spend too much time in it. Whether it’s the office you work at, your living room, your kitchen or your closet, it’s always to good to invest time and making it a comfortable, easy-access and pleasant space. I have come to realize that I love decorating and spend way too much time looking through websites like this one or this one, getting ideas and inspiration.
Your work space – whether at home or not – should reflect your taste and have useful items that promote productivity and are practical. I always have in hand things like pens, pencils, notebooks, my agenda, my computer, a set of headphones, a scented candle and assorted small items like clips or white paper tape.

Of course some things rely on your area of work; if you are more on the creative side, tape, a pair of scissors and colorful pens have to be on your must-have list. If you are more on the financial side, a calculator, maybe a ruler and even a grid notebook are your go-to accessories.
You can always get creative and have out-of-the-box items like the above folders to carry important papers, small notebooks to take notes or thoughts you have throughout the day, and a small box to hold items that are too small or in big quantities to be spread out.

Whatever your style is, you can always find things that suit it and make you feel a lot more inspired while you work. I know that I’ve worked hard to make my space as nice as possible, since I spend so much time in it, with things I love looking at and help me keep focus and not wander through the apartment looking for it or making excuses not to work.
