New Year Changes We Can Keep

I’m not keen on resolutions but, for some reason, I always write down a list of things I want to achieve by the time the ball drops. It seems to keep me in line with goals I have for the new year ahead and, ultimately, guide me through my everyday life. I decided to name it changes, and help you figure out what changes we can make to overcome that sense of failure when you feel you haven’t completed any of the things you wished for. Having read several articles on it – mainly this and this – I created my own changes and list of what I want to accomplish this year.

1. Steer clear of unnecessary purchases.
2. Start saving for dream travel destinations.
3. Work smarter.
4. Finally run the New York City Marathon, with M.
5. Take better care of my skin, body and mind.
6. Reach my goal weight.
7. Be bolder.
8. Start planning our first trip of the year, already booked in April.
9. Start creating content in video form (you can follow me on Snapchat @daduxa).
10. Stop comparing myself.
11. Do things I’ve never done before.
12. Be nicer.
