Spring and summer are so much easier in so many ways. Getting dress trumps everything else. I was watching a video a few days ago that said decision fatigue is actually a thing. Which makes so much sense when it comes to winter dressing. You have to think about layers and layers of clothes. And by the 7th month, I’m a bit over it. In all honesty, I’ve been cold so much for the past few weeks. Just because I refuse to dress for this extreme cold we’ve been dealing with in New York.

But moving on, if you remember last week, I posted this look. Which has been getting a lot of compliments. Especially the top, that you can also see here, accompanied by one of my favorite Brazilian songs.

Later that day, it got pretty cold. We went from 80 to zero in a blimp, which required a strategic change in a few elements of my outfit. Mainly the shoes and bottoms. Lately, I’ve been wearing these mom jeans a lot. And they still remain my favorite pair, since 2016. It’s one of my longest lasting relationships with a pair of jeans from Pull&Bear. Because the top might be a bit more formal, I thought I’d tone down the look. Make it a little bit more street. And top it off with an oversized blazer (also seen here).

At the end of the night, I felt extremely comfortable and sort of sexy. I think a lot about how an outfit makes me feel. And if it’s half the way i felt wearing this ensemble, it’s done its part.
