The first Miami vlog is now live! The first day of December, I packed a carry-on and flew to Miami to join my husband. Both of us had never been, and it was a great opportunity to cross if off our to-go list. Miami is one of those places you don’t necessarily have to, but need to go. I didn’t think much of it, and maybe the city had high artsy vibes because of the Miami Art Basel, but I dug it. The colors, the architecture, the art. It was a great and impressive combination.
The first day was spent traveling. Because of a plane malfunction, I only got to West Palm Beach in the evening. By the time I got to the house we stayed at, I just wanted to sleep. The next day, I worked in the morning and took the car down to Miami. I spent the afternoon by myself roaming around the Design District, Wynwood and South Beach. I ate an enormous pizza with a glass of wine, watched the sunset at the beach and drove back north.
While heading home, I tuned into a jazz radio station – with the GPS lady in the background. And it was such an amazing rush. There was no traffic, I was smoothing and enjoying the beautiful sky and ambiance. The following two days were even better. We even got to spend one night in a beautiful place in the heart of it all. So stay tuned because that’s part of the surprise I did to my husband. All is going live on next week’s vlog. For now, enjoy the first half of our trip!
