I cannot take credit for today’s post. But maybe the thoughts that follow it. One of my favorite bloggers writes an end-of-the-month post about things her readers might have missed – ICYMI. Through rounding up a few photos, she summarizes her previous month and I think the idea is pretty great. Not only are you looking back and reflecting on what you did, but you’re giving it a place in our mind to settle.

In Case You Missed It: I started the month in Lisbon, on a date with a friend. It was the end of a long week in the big city. Before going to Amsterdam, I spent a few more days at home, in Lagos. The weather was extremely nice, so I went to the beach a few more times.

ICYMI: For a short, four days, I headed to Amsterdam with two of my best friends. The first vlog is already live – the other two will follow right up. It was such a great trip. As it always is, when you get to know a new city.

ICYMI: By the second half of the month, I was back in New York City. To my life, my husband and the big apple. I’ve been catching up on work, friends and the city itself. Going for walks in SoHo, enjoying fall in Central Park. You name it.

ICYMI: Last weekend, we decided to see the Louis Vuitton exhibition, Volez, Voguez, Voyage. It’s this stream of inspiration and a browse through the history of the brand. The month ended on a not so happy note. On October 31st, New York suffered an attack. We had a birthday dinner – that we still attended – but were pretty shaken by the events. Bottom line, this month made me feel a bit stronger. Just because I did so much, travelled quite a lot, and felt like I survived my own self.
