Day 3 was such a blessing. We spent most of the day outside, again, walking around, but it did not rain. At all. We started our day at Vondelpark, a 47 acre urban park in Amsterdam. It was pretty close to where we stayed, so we enjoyed most of the morning there. By lunch time, we went to the Van Gogh Museum. Going to Amsterdam, it was my only requisite. Since I’m such a fan of the guy, it was only natural that I’d wanted to go there.
After, it was still early, so we decided to have lunch at a spot someone recommended. The Avocado Show. To be quite honest, it wasn’t the best pick. We waited around 40 minutes to get a table – which was fine because it gave us a chance to wonder around. By the time we sat down to order it was around 3pm, the food took some time and the waiter had to take our order twice. The food was good, but coming from the land of avocado toasts, I wasn’t impressed.
Throughout the day we walked a lot more, ended at an open air market and dropped by the Red Light District. Which wasn’t fully operational at such an early time of day. To finalize the day, we had dinner at a ramen place and went straight home. Our wake up call was pretty early and we were so tired. By the end, we just relaxed at home and had sort of a dance off. Missing those days we used to live home and got ready to go out in each other’s houses. Oh well. Flashback vlog! I hope you enjoy.
