Sunday early evening on our way to the city.
This weekend started out pretty rad. Friday morning we finally got our media console delivered and our first ever dinner party. I wouldn’t call it a house warming just yet, giving that the apartment is still under work, but it was pretty neat to have a few of our friends over for food and drinks. It ended up being a very pleasant night and Poppy can definitely stand for it. On Saturday, me and M attended our first ever sweet 16 party. Ha! If you follow me on Instagram, you surely saw the infinite snaps I took/did. After the last I swore it would be the last, but then something else happened that made me grab the phone.
Sunday was very chill and, with a friend, we went to see the Girl on the Train, which I highly recommend. I didn’t actually read the book – which I’m regretting now – but the movie was a-mazing. It kept me glued to the chair, anxious about what was going to happen next. Even if you haven’t read the book, go see it. After it, we came to see the second Presidential debate. I honestly haven’t paid a lot of attention to the politics back in Portugal. But there’s something about what’s going on in the country that captives and amuses me. It’s sort of ridiculous and movie-esc to see how they are at each other’s throats without focusing on what’s really at stake and important. But that’s a story for another day.
