About rose water

Ever since I was a little girl, back in my parents house, we always had rose water stocked in our bathroom shelf. It used to be the perfect calmer when my allergies got to my eyes or when I wanted to clean something that wasn’t coming off. As I grew, it started to be a part of my cleaning routine and now, it still is. Every night, before I go to bed, I wash my face with water and, after using the cleaning brush and before applying the face creams, I gently apply rose water to remove any remaining make-up traces – normally around the eye area.

Never use it as an exclusive cleanser because it dries your skin, a lot, always apply it as part of a skin care daily routine, before any moisturizer. This one in particular is slightly better because it contains aloe vera, which is known as a hydrating element. I realize it’s a very basic product that can, sometimes, go unnoticed but has a calming and very soothing effect on the skin.
