Lately my life is resumed to checking tasks. I wake up, get ready, go to the bank/insurance company/garage/government offices, apply to jobs on a daily basis, exercise, go to the supermarket, do laundry (occasionally) and go to bed. Moving to another country is hard and you have to give up so many other things in order to get your life together and start it. Yesterday we went to see the beach for the first time after a visit to the DMV – Department of Motor Vehicles. A white sandy beach with (probably) freezing water and an $8 fee to get in. Can you imagine a place where you have to pay to go to the beach? That would be an outrage back in Portugal. Nonetheless, the one thing that’s keeping me afloat is my husband, the blog and the excitement I have to write every single post. Just to say that I hope you are enjoying and thank you for your feedback. Hopefully in the future there will be more.
