New York Fashion Week started yesterday. Well, technically it started two days ago with all the pre parties and cocktail events but, officially started yesterday. I was never a huge follower of the fashion weeks all over the globe. I attended the Lisbon Fashion Week several times and even volunteered for one year but that was the closest I came to following what goes on the runway shows. I really like strolling through the pictures taken at the shows – especially spring and summer – but never brought myself to read about the collections, inspirations and trends. There are a lot of websites that resume that for you, which makes it easier for us not-know-it-all’s to figure out quickly what’s going on. I was hoping to go to the city today or tomorrow and take a peek at the Lincoln Center, just to see the famous event and street style – which I’m more interested in. Let’s see how it goes.
