Books are one of my go-to time spender. I love relaxing in the afternoon and reading a good book. When I like what I’m reading, I devour it and finish it as soon as my time allows. My father is book maniac, as I mentioned before, and is always suggesting that I write posts about books. He recently offered me one, which I can’t reveal just yet, that is written to perfection. Thanks dad! The first book I ever read was The Little Prince from Antoine de Saint ExupĂ©ry. I still remember those beautiful illustrations and, especially, the Boa constrictor with the elephant in the stomach. Ever since that first intense book, I’ve tried to maintain a regular reading list. As of now, I’m reading three different books, all for different purposes. Not That Kind of Girl was written by Lena Dunham, from the TV show Girls. I thought it would be more of a brain teaser and mind grasping, but I’ve been reading it for the last month and have yet to finish it. The second book is Pretty Honest, by Sali Hughes. A book about beauty for real women. I don’t want to spoil so, just read it! Lastly, my tough desk companion has been HTML & CSS design and build websites, by Jon Duckett. It’s kind of like a learning bible for my continuous efforts in learning HTML and CSS. Another book, that I recently got, sported on the picture above, is the modern tail 40 Days of Dating, by designers Jessica Walsh and Timothy Goodman. I followed the project since the beginning and find it just amazing the marketing and advertising around it. They started an experiment testing the modern day approach to dating. After I finish Lena Dunham’s, I want to jump to this one and see what they have to say about the whole project.
What are you reading these days?
