Mansur Gavriel pop up store on Wooster St.
On Friday, I went to walk Poppy in the afternoon. Right before sunset. The weather was very pleasant, not too cold, not too hot. I wasn’t even wearing a jacket. Put on my headphones and started listening to Cat Stevens – which I’m obsessed. I always take one long walk so he can run a bit and, while at it, I felt this inner peace. It was one of those moments you just want to freeze in time and remember the feeling. I think I was smiling most of the time and in a great mood. I felt like writing about it right away and that’s exactly what I did.
Later that day, we went to dinner and movie with a friend. We watched the Edge of 17, which I’ve really wanted to. I’m not going to spoil or anything, but felt it was heavier than they showed on the trailer. Even though, I highly recommend. The remaining of the weekend was a great following. I barely touched the computer, which after the week I had felt amazing.
Saturday was girls day in SoHo and Sunday was just spent with my husband and our puppy. If you follow me on Insta Stories you saw we went to this cozy place in SoHo, Epistrophy. If you ever have the opportunity to go, please have the zucchini fritters. Oh eme geeee. They were amazing and I would’ve had 10 more. After that we walked for a bit around the area, snappedĀ some pictures but it was too cold to stay out.
I love quiet weekends like these and Friday put me in the best mood. I hope you had a great one and feel like tackling this week. Make sure you listen to Cat Stevens on your Spotify and look for his playlist. Let me know what you think!
