We realize that, for some parts of the world, summer is long gone and winter has settled in quite strongly. Just like for any other season it brings out a few changes in our household, mainly details that make the apartment feel more cozy and warm.
Tea cups everywhere, I stock up on several different types of tea so we always have something warm to drink. It feels so good to have it in the morning with breakfast, during the afternoon while I’m working and at night, cozying up to a movie on the couch.
Citrine fruits are a most, throughout winter, not only because they are rich in vitamin C but because they help prevent the common cold while keeping your sugar levels up.
Candles are one of my favorite thing to have around the apartment. Not only they are soothing and therapeutical, but I normally buy scented candles that give the space a pleasant smell.
Duvet cover. For the first time since we moved to New York, I recaptured my old habit of changing the duvet cover come winter. Not only is it good to change the environment and overall aesthetics of the room, but it settles a difference between seasons.
