I love experimenting trends with which I feel some level of connection, and not only because everyone is wearing them. And I can say that my mother taught me how to spot something that everyone else will be wearing next season. I remember both us going shopping, searching for something we were coveting with no results, and seeing it everywhere once the collections changed. But with great power comes great responsibility, and I find that, it’s important to find what suits me and better represents what I’m most at ease with. I rounded up a few of the current trends that are on repeat on my everyday closet, and of which I just can’t get enough.

High Waist Mom Jeans from Pull&Bear.
Mom jeans: I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of these jeans which I’ve been wearing almost every single day – I even have a friend asking me if I wash them, ha! But in all seriousness, I love how they fit and feel and the fact that they are honestly, one of the most comfortable pieces I’ve ever owned. Cherry on top of the cake? They cost 30$!

High Heel Leather Ankle Boots from Zara.
Ankle boots: are basically my most second worn shoe, after the sneaker of course, of the season. They have the perfect heel length, not too high and not too short, both of the ones I have are very, very comfortable and go with either skirts, pants, jeans or shorts (seen here and here). I know I’m getting a great deal out of them.

Bomber Jacket from Topshop.
Bomber jacket: I always loved bomber jackets and had a navy blue one years ago, which had to be thrown out over so much use. Now I have two (seen here and here) and just know they are going to be my go-to jacket for spring and chilly summer nights. They are just so cool!

Sweatshirt from Calvin Klein, Baggy Pants from Stradivarius and Shiny Loafers from Zara.
Athleisure: I’m not sure if this is even a word, but I’d like to think that Vogue and InStyle know it best, so I’m going with the flow. Working from home, I have this tendency to simplify my wardrobe and be mostly comfortable and practical. But that can be perceived as lazy, so I embraced the athleisure trend, which is wearing your gym clothes as a daily ensemble, but chicer!

Black Pointed Loafers from Massimo Dutti.
Pointy flats: whether in boots or flats, I’m loving pointy shoes. You can see the boots here, but I’m most excited about wearing these flats – which I got almost four months ago but the cold does not allow me to. The epitome of flat sporting is a New York blogger Danielle Bernstein, which you can see wears them all-the-freaking-time.

Printed Pajama Style Blouse from Zara.
Pajama shirt: this trend comes a little bit inline with the athleisure, the overleap of what to wear where and the crossing of a barrier that once belonged to the comfort of home. I still have my eye on another outfit from Zara, but started to sport the trend with this beautiful, and very Dolce & Gabbana inspired shirt.
