The third installment of the de-bloating and detoxing series is as simple as the water with lemon: green tea and mint. Green tea is a very known and great antioxidant that helps you burn fat, boosts your energy and prevents you from getting the common cold – and other diseases. Mint has the amazing ability to help you digest the most greasy foods while it de-bloats you – perfect for post-dinner sharing.

Ingredients: green tea (leafs or bag), fresh mint and water.

How to: bring to boil desired amount of hot water. While you wait, peal some fresh mint leafs and wash them throughly. Add them to a glass or jar, and the green tea. Add the water to the mix and wait for about 4 to 5 minutes to remove the green tea.

Note: regular green tea contains caffeine, so make sure to drink it in the morning to avoid insomnia or alter your sleep schedules – unless you are used to it. You can also leave the tea in for just 2 to 3 minutes for a lighter taste. In case you don’t have fresh mint, you can always substitute for mint tea.
