Guilty pleasures

guilty-pleasures, keeping-up-with-the-kardashians, watch-kuwtk, tv-shows,

A few Sundays ago, me and M were cooking dinner and I ran to the TV at 8:59 to change into E!. There’s only, not even, a handful of things I watch on that channel: The Sex and the City reruns, romantic comedies and my ultimate fait divers, Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

Watching the Kardashians is one of the few things I do that does not require thinking. I just sit down, watch and the minute it ends forget about it, there’s no complex plot, we know the characters too well and it’s just amusing. While M criticizes and constantly roles his eyes, I know he still likes to watch, at least to bad mouth the situations.

It’s not a proud moment for me but everyone has guilty pleasures, whether it’s reading gossip magazines at the supermarket, follow celebrities on Instagram or even (still) love Britney Spears. The fact is, entertainment is made for us to relax and enjoy while thinking about someone else’s problems and lives for a change.

I would love to know what are your guilty pleasures?
