Thoughts on Turning 27

Yet another year turns as I become older, and closer to thirty. No melodramas at 27, as I love to reflect on what my life has become, where I stand and where I want to go (wishful thinking). So instead of dropping the old speech, I’ll write down everything I’m loving in my life right now. Mainly, as a way to look forward to the coming 365 days and a pin point in this, sort of, turning point.

I love that I’m married to my best friend.

I love that I have a handful of people I can trust.

I love that I witnessed two great friends getting married.

I love that I can self-motivate.

I love that I have two different groups of friends in New York.

I love that I’m living in New York.

I love that my parents came to visit.

I love that I’m making huge life decisions in the coming week.

I love that I’m turning into the person I always wanted to be.

I love that I’m healthy.

I love that I started doing yoga.

I love that you all out there read and support me.

I love that I get to be so lucky and do what I love every single day.

I love I’m more mature, caring and nurturing.

And I love that, yet again, it’s my birthday.
