November sprung on me like a wind blow! I’ve been back for a month now, my parents already came and went, and I still feel like I’m getting used to my life here – although that’s just for the lack of routine I’ve been having. November is clearly one of my favorite months, if not the one, not only because of my birthday but also because the days become shorter, the weekends become lazier and it’s finally time for blanket, tea and Netflix season. It’s also time to incorporate new traditions as we embrace Thanksgiving like our own holiday and, I’m pretty sure that if and when we go back home, it will remain. The food, the thought and the gathering of everyone to say thanks and appreciate what they have in their lives seems like a pretty good reason. Plus, it’s the month prior to the holidays – but let’s not get ahead of ourselves. Have a great November!
