The start of summer is, amongst other things, the preferred wedding season, which is upon us – and I’m sure for many of you has already started. With it, come the incessantly search for the perfect outfit, fashion pinning and make-up and skin worrying. This season, for the first time, I’m attending two weddings that are right around the corner. The second one, towards the end of the season, is from one of my best and oldest friends, I can’t hardly contain how happy I am for her.
With so many things to choose from, I decided to create mood boards with all the details concerning an outfit to help me break down possible choices. I realize most of us are on a budget, so I always consider a less expensive option, but in my opinion, tackle the items you can/want to splurge and the one’s you can save a few bucks on.
The first ensemble is clearly a very romantic one. The colors are perfect for a beach wedding where you can surely blend with the overall shades. This dress from Zara is very elegant and simple, which is perfect so you can go all out with the accessories. The neckline calls for a romantic braided crown to intensify that romantic feel. Always consider a shawl or scarf in case the wedding is held in a church.
This classic lace dress is highly wedding-y. Pair it with a fun pair of patterned or golden sandals (if you’re on a budget). Both clutch options have a handle so you don’t have to worry about bringing a strap or having to carry the bag on your shoulder or arm. Given that you’re showing a little bit of leg, you can let your hair down with some loose or beach waves to structure your whole ensemble.
Last but not least, if you are a risk taker, opt for a jumpsuit that will elongate your figure and give that chic and sexy touch. This one has the perfect cut right on the waist line giving you an edgy feel. Pair it with a bold pair of shoes and the perfect eye cat to make your eyes pop. The neutral color of the jumpsuit allows you to play with the accessories or just go for the classic black ones. To make you look even leaner, try a messy up-do.
