I’ve been wanting to try this sandwich for over a month now and finally got the ingredients to reproduce it. I first found it here and instantly knew I wanted to do a post about it. Of course, as previous experiences show, I changed a few details to make it more to my taste, but the basics are there. This isn’t the bread I typically get for us but it looked similar to the one in the original post so it was the one I got. To be absolutely honest, I had two of these deliciousnesses, because they looked like tiny appetizers – and M had four! It’s a great lunch, accompanied by a side salad, for those spring days when you don’t feel like having a full-on meal. If you have just one, you can even enjoy it as an afternoon or mid-morning snack.
– Assorted cereal bread (or the bread you regularly buy),
– Cream cheese,
– Cheddar or any other cheese of your liking,
– Radishes,
– Assorted lettuces.
(4 – 5 minutes)
This takes little to no time to make. Just cut the bread in half and toast it for about 30 seconds. Meanwhile, wash and cut the radishes and the cheese in small slices. When the bread is slightly toasted, spread a little bit of cream cheese on one of the halves, place the cheese with the radishes on top and a few of the assorted lettuces. Close the sandwich with the other top and crush it a bit so it doesn’t fall off. Enjoy it with a glass of orange juice or freshly made lemonade!
