So, I wanted to try and be a smoothie maniac! I’ve been seeing, reading and hearing about how everyone is making home made smoothies and I wanted to see what the fuss was about. To be honest, this isn’t news to me because, when I was younger, we used to have a beach bar in my hometown, where I would work every summer, and we would make all kinds of milkshakes, which are a milk-y version of smoothies. One of our best-seller was an orange based smoothie, which some days was my lunch. A few weeks ago I had a lot of fruit going bad and I decided to try and make a smoothie. Unfortunately my current kitchen does not allow me to record the process and show it to you but, above are the ingredients I used and below the result, after the blender. How surprised was I that it was tasty enough without any kind of additional sugar. This is a berry, mango and low fat yogurt smoothie. If you feel like it’s too creamy, just add a bit of water, blend it again and have a taste!
