This past week was a very different and special one. Me and M. had our first stay-in visitors. They came straight from Portugal at the right time. It’s been almost four months we came here and it’s been a long and hard process adjusting to the United States. Even though New York is one of the most populated cities in the world, it’s true what they say, you can feel pretty lonely at times. So, they came to visit us! We walked around Manhattan, Brooklyn and even the south shore of Long Island. It felt nice to talk about what’s been going on back home and how they are and focus on somebody else’s problems or issues. So, this week, what made me (extremely!) happy was their visit, which was short but oh-so-pleasant. Miss you already guys!
