Summer ’14 review

These three months of summer were chaotic, nerve recking, awesome, new, exciting, scary and almost every other emotion I can thing of. I went on my honeymoon, I spent a wonderful week in my hometown, I moved to New York, we got a new apartment, a new car, furniture, I went to Manhattan all by myself – and really enjoyed it – and it’s still on going. I’m trying to figure out what our life here means and if it’s worth it or not. August was a complicated month. I feel like I had my first breakdowns and wanted to go home. I missed my parents, my family, my friends, I missed the beach and the parties, I missed going out and dancing. It’s not easy, as I’ve pointed out before, but we have to suck it up and move on to better things. I managed to do most of my to-do list and I’m pretty happy about it. I feel like it was a long, long, long summer and I couldn’t be more happy to be getting into a fall state of mind.
