Much like I did last week with the movies, this post talks about my favourite TV shows and what mood I have to be in to watch them. I love watching TV shows and it’s seriously one of the most entertaining things I do when I don’t want to think about anything else.
Friends. What’s there to say about Friends? For me it’s the greatest show that ever surfed television. There’s something funny in every episode, scenes I still remember to this day that make me laugh until I cry (there’s no back to this couch) and genuine moments that make you wish it would last forever. This TV show never fell back, not even after 10 seasons. I own each and every one of them. It’s a great show for every mood.
Grey’s Anatomy is a show that I only watch – nowadays – because I started and saw every single episode. After season 8 it’s just down falling and you pity those characters to whom everything happens. I’m curious to see what happens now that Cristina Yang is not in the picture. I normally keep this show for when I’m feeling blue or having a bad day. Their days are worse, for sure.
I started watching Homeland last year in the beginning of the summer. It was already in season 2, if I’m not mistaken, and I devoured those episodes one after the other. If I didn’t had anything better to do, this was the show I would turn too. Exciting and thrilling.
I don’t care what people say, The Big Bang Theory is a geeky show with which I’ve learned a lot. Did you know that Mohammed is the most common name in the world? And Li the most common surname? Well, that’s what they teach you. It’s been falling a bit since last season but still have some funny moments.
Sex and the City is the best show to watch with your girlfriends. If you’re having a girly afternoon or just want to relaxe with a great glass of wine, do it with Sex and the City. They just make you want to live in New York and have a fabulous life. I’m not talking about the movies (which I know this image is from), that’s another story.
