I’ve acquired the habit of doing home made manicures because I can’t afford doing them out all the time. Occasionally I go to the salon and get some pampering but overall, I got the hang of doing them at home. You need some basic items; manicure tools are essential so you can get your nails polish ready. You don’t necessarily need a kit, you can get them separately. After that, I always lime them in a square and small shape – to keep them from breaking or chipping. I also learned years ago to use a good coat, it helps protect your nails and avoid that yellow-y color after you remove the nail polish. After applying it, use a gel coat to make it look shiny and consistent. It’s important that your nails last as much as possible, so your work on doing them pays off. After finishing and they’ve dried, always use a hand cream so your hands look healthy and moisturised. Have a great start of the week you guys!
