Last year, after I wrote this post, M suggested to his parents that they’d surprise me with this Polar Watch for my birthday. Ever since I got it, every time I go to the gym, for walks, runs or workout in any way, it does not leave my wrist – even when I’m cleaning the apartment! I’ve never had an object controlling my body while it exercises, my heartbeat, my speed, my zones and calories. It’s the best way to know your limits.
I’ve been doing the insanity workout for the past month, and for the first time, I let the Polar control my reaching point. Even if I’m feeling tired and want to stop the exercises, I take a quick look at my heartbeat and figure I can do a little bit more and push a little bit harder. If you’re into sports at a high intensity level, I advise you to get a Polar. You can search through their website where they have a lot of different watches for different purposes and goals. Don’t risk not reaching your maximum effort, make sure you control your workouts and know your limits.
