On Corduroy Pants

I know I’ve been talking too much fashion lately on the blog. But I seriously browse through thousands of websites daily. On the lookout for inspiration, what’s new, trends, what’s in and out. I have so much to share and so little time. I live and breath this shit to be honest. So it’s only natural that I end up writing all about it. And today, I want to focus on corduroy pants.

Last year, in February, I saw this beautiful Isabel Marant pink corduroy pair. I started frantically browsing all my favorite websites to see if I could find them. I couldn’t. No fast fashion, second hand or vintage store had them. I must’ve searched through 20+ websites with zero success. And honestly, I gave up the idea and made peace with it. Especially after getting this blazer. It wasn’t until late this summer, when I came back to New York, I was on a break from tanning on my rooftop. And it was when I saw . These majestic, pink, corduroy pants from . It was scolding hot outside, and I couldn’t even think about how I would wear them. But I got them.

A few days later they arrived, I tried them on, and it was magic. They fit like a glove. I immediately started planning outfits, finding images on Pinterest. You name it. And if last year they were impossible to find, this fall, they are every where. And not selling out anytime soon. Again, I went on an online rant to find you the best possible options out there, in all shapes, sizes and colors. Case in point, this Frankie Shop pair I’m wearing. They are especially great for cold weather. And even though they can be very unflattering, I simply don’t care. Because warmth.
