And so it is. We’ve reached the end of 2018 and I wish you nothing other than an amazing new year. I’m spending the final days of the year with my husband and some friends in Gran Canaria. Which, if you’re like me and don’t know, it’s next to Africa. Not Spain. You can follow everything along on my Instagram. But I digress on this joyous day.
We took a break from spending it in our hometown (it would be the 4th consecutive year) and flew off to the islands. There’s not much left to say about 2018, except for a personal mantra: don’t dwell on it. A new year is always a great chance for new beginnings and old endings. Think about the person you want to become, and work towards it every single day of 2019.
I’m so excited about this new year and could not ask for a better start. As always, there are so many plans, hopes and dreams, and I’ll be sure to let you follow along the way. I want to focus on spending and buying less, giving more, taking care of myself and those around me. Try to stay away from all-consuming relationships and make myself less available. Work on my passions and finally move forward. Take time to rest and be with myself and my husband but, above all, experience New York to the fullest and get myself ready for something new.
By popular demand, I’m sharing my bloopers throughout the year and hope you have a laugh. Because everything is not perfect and social media is not real life. Trying to always show you the realness. See also 2017 and 2016.
Hope you get to spend today with people you want to. And wishing you all an amazing new year. 2019, I’m ready for you!
