Maybe it’s because fall is halfway through or I’m just feeling this orange color very much. Today’s edit is all about combining a variation of black items with this beautiful. bright orange. I would seriously wear any of these things right now. Comfort is key in New York, so I always try to walk around with a cute pair of boots, sneakers or something I can walk hours in. Which is not an easy find.
I realized, this week is all about elevated basics. Like a beautiful , or . Which is probably a reflection of how I’ve been looking at my closet lately. With caution! Making sure I only buy pieces I really love and will wear. If something doesn’t fit properly, is too tight or I’m not comfortable in, it goes back. I tend to try things on for a few hours to see how I feel and make my decision. Maybe it’s a millennial thing, to order, try and keep/return.
Do you have any rules you follow when shopping for something? I would love to know and discuss it, because it’s something I’ve been feeling super conscious about. And honestly have been spending a lot of time thinking and acting.
