The Graphic Tee Is a Staple

In fashion, you often hear about pieces that become staples. The infamous trench coat. Pair of jeans that make your bootie look its best. Black boots. Go-to print. Then, there’s the tee. And while a plain one is always a great backup, I love a solid graphic tee. I have several in my collection and there’s always room for one more. Because they can easily spice up and add personality to any outfit. Whether it’s a logo, a cool rock band, a message.

In this case, it’s another fashion revival.¬†For a school project, my group picked Fiorucci as a brand to bring to New York and a lot of research was done. I found out every detail there is to know, and I’ll tell you that this is a cult brand. Or it was, back in the 70’s and 80’s. Following along side the pop art movement, Fiorucci was associated with culture, art and diversity. There was no such thing as too much and maximalism was the word of order.

Fast forward 30 years and the brand is attempting a comeback. Which we found interesting, since we were preparing it to travel overseas, yet again. They were known for¬†having a few different logos and personalities. Such as this graphic tee below. Which I’ll be wearing way more during spring, and then summer with a denim skirt and some red sandals.

There are so many options, and it can quickly become overwhelming to choose from. I gathered a few of my favorite ones to get you a head start, because they are e-v-e-r-y-w-h-e-r-e.
