I’m so glad we are approaching the end of this year. 2017 was a downer for me. And beyond my own, personal life, I feel like there was so much wrong, tragedy, suffering. It’s really hard to focus on the good things when shitty ones are happening constantly. Every day seems to have been a battle. And for that, I decided to do this positive exercise of reflecting on all the good that I/we had this year.
Full disclosure: it wasn’t easy. Thinking about 20 good things that happened throughout the year – that isn’t even over – was a challenge. But one I take with a smile. There has to be a reason why the year sucked so bad. But for now, lets unwind with a cup a tea and think of all the good. While at it, I’d love to know what you thought of this year and your favorite things of it.

As you are reading this, I’m packing to head back home. Flying out tonight and getting to Portugal in the morning. Not only this is one of my favorite things, but as you can imagine, I’m uber excited. Christmas only begins at the airport when my dad picks us up. Happy humpday and safe travels to everyone going home!
