A couple of months ago, I wrote a post about beauty empties. Or what beauty products I’ve been using non-stop. I’m thinking about turning it into a series. I love to let you guys know about things I’ve been using, re-purchasing, or not. It’s something I look for in other blogs – and Eva Chen sometimes does a great empties roundup. Let me know in the comments if that’s something you’d like me to continue doing.
The first product I finished and am definitely re-purchasing is my mascara. I’ve been using the Chanel Volumizing Mascara since last year and I love it. It doesn’t smudge (the one I’m trying now gets particles below my eyes). It’s easily removable with any toner or face washer. It’s not bulky and leaves just the right amount of mascara on the eyelashes.
This miracle worker has also reached its end. The Glossier Boy Brow is my absolute must-have. I use it everyday and have to go buy another immediately. My eyebrows are already complaining and giving me a hard time. I use it in Blond.
Another product I’m definitely repurchasing is my Modern Muse parfum. I’m so in love with the smell. I bought it last year and it’s such an amazing scent for either season. I love a product that can transgress time and you can use whenever.
I’ve told you about my absolute amazing shampoo and conditioner discovery. Last September I started purchasing the OUAI shampoo and conditioner line. Let me tell you, I still love it. Even though I’m trying out a new brand, I’m still re-purchasing them eventually. My hair was getting used to them and it didn’t had the same effect. But I die for that smell which is #nomnomnom.
This Nivea Extended Moisture hand cream is seriously one of the best I’ve used. I have very, very, very dry skin. Which makes it almost impossible to find hand creams that actually work. This super dense hand cream is making wonders and, every night before going to bed, I use a bit. My husband has also been using it often and, since he works a lot with his hands, the difference is substancial.
I went back to my trusty La Roche Posay moisturizer a few weeks back. I started having a lot of breakouts and felt like my skin needed an extra boost. I’m already over one tube and going to get another ASAP. It’s such a soothing moisturizer and does not leave my skin red after applying.
Last but not least, I’ve been using a few Kiehl’s products to try out the brand. I was told about their midnight serum. When I went to get it, they offered a few samples and this multi-corrective cream was one of them. I’m definitely going back for the normal version. It’s such a hydrating product and, even though I only apply it at night, it’s very soothing and I love the way my skin feels the next morning.
