This was one of the most fun shoots I’ve done for the blog. When I came up with the idea of doing a three way vintage tee, I was overly excited. I love this t-shirt and it was suspiciously easy to pair it three ways. You can go with the all time classic (and also sort of) vintage skirt, a pair of culottes or (the trend of the moment and early fall) velvet pants.

This is going to be my ultimate outfit for summer. I just loved the combination and have no idea how I didn’t think about it before. Initially I had a high pony tail but the loose and voluminous hair was a better fit. I would normally wear it with a pair of classic KEDS but the slip-ons felt more statement-y.

These culottes can be hard to wear, but they seem to work well with mixed prints. The soft pastel colors seem to blend in well together and the bold lipstick color just adds a pin-up sort of look. Hence the pony tail.

I’ve been seeing a boom in velvet items online. I got these pants last summer and, again, have difficulty pairing them. Apparently, they also look amazing with this vintage tee, so another look I’ll be sporting often. And, because they are so long, I always have to wear them with a pair of heels or at least a platform shoe. Perfection!
