Hometown Blues and a Choker

If there’s a perfect denim on denim formula for summer, this is definitely it. I wear this outfit over and over and over again because it simply works. These pictures were still taken in Portugal on a sunny and warm afternoon. If you follow me on Instagram, you already caught a glimpse.

This village is very close to my hometown and has amazing shellfish restaurants. After a late lunch, I went for a walk and my sister-in-law took a few pictures. As a background, we used the traditional Portuguese houses and warm colors – which make it a perfect setup. Especially at the end of the afternoon, when the light is warmer.

This was y ultimate I-don’t-know-what-to-wear outfit on a post-beach kind of feel. I wore the crap out of this skirt and brought it to New York with me. Making it the most worn item on my list in such a short time. I’m also trying to embrace the choker trend, which was so big back in the 90’s. It’s still a give it a try moment but I’m definitely getting into its feel.

What do you think about this coming trend?
